Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for three of its final four seasons. In episodes of the show she performed her country debut albums. The album with the same name was ranked in the Billboard 200's Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, also reached the Top Ten. It was the end of the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. The girl was born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was a country music fanatic growing up. music and would eventually be pursuing a recording career. However, she began her professional life acting as an actress, appearing on screen in the indie horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teen years. Over the years Kramer was a regular on a variety of shows, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer went to appear as Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as well as Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she was on the show until the finale season in the year 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Let Go. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was released on her debut entire album Jana Kramer. The track made it to the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She remained focused on her career in music following that, and not resigning from acting she was a part of films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, in a duet made her album make it to the top ten spot on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her appearance on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th-place finish. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
