Andree Martinez

Andree was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico and was raised within El Paso, Texas. Her family has a strong entertainment gene. From a very young age Karla (Host on the Univision show Despierta America!) and other family members were always around her. Along with her father, Andrew Martinez is the vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the most powerful electric utilities in the United States. Andrew Martinez, vice president for Safety Security as well as Business Resiliency is one of the most important electric utilities in America. He's responsible for the organization's activities and programs which focus on worker safety, corporate security and business resiliency which are all key priorities for SCE. Martinez gives safety professionals throughout every aspect of the business mentorship top-quality training and guidance in achieving the goals for safety for their work group. Before taking on his current position Martinez was the director for Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. Prior to that he served as the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. Over the course of his 30 years at SCE he held numerous leadership positions, including at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.
